Awards Banquet Initiated Spring, 1974 saw the initiation ofthe first annual music awards banquet held at the Orland Chateau. Many attended and the re- laxed atmosphere proved more appropriate than the traditional concert. Afterward, the students were treated to a dance with mu- sic provided by Burnt Sienna. ln order to have a banquet, music students assisted by the Boosters Club, must work during the year on fund raising projects. One of the main projects this year included selling the Christmas record al- bum which the choir recorded, Some ofthe activities of the year include, the fall concerts, numer- ous Christmas concerts, Winter and Spring festivals, and of course the spring tag day sponsored by the music boosters. l 3 for Music Activities 1.
