Pep Club is an organization of students who try to promote school spirit at Old IVlain. Although it was a small group this year, that didn't seem to stop them from coming out and cheering for our Cardinals. They sold pins, pennants and programs before most games. 3. Top Moth Students Also Tops in Service Euclideans are math students who must be taking geometry or some form of a higher math course, Their purpose is to serve as waiters for school func- tions. They are pictured in photo lil serving punch at Homecoming in their white suits. This club was founded in 1955 and has had successful results. Their main project is the big banquet at the end of the year. Pictured are: Greg Andricopulus, Tod Erickson, Wayne Hardy, Sheryl Hilligonds, Tim Savino, Kevin Stephenson, Dwight Kuzanek, and sponsor Nlr. Woj- 1 ton. 2 Nlathletes are gifted students who try to learn topics beyond 3 what is covered in regular math classes. One of the major con- cepts of this group is that they try to do the learning on their own. They participate in six contests a year, which are between the 18 schools in the S.l.C.A. con- ference. They give awards to top members.
