The play involved teenagers and their rebellion in the 5O's. It was directed by lVlr. Students Combine Efforts in Koleidoscope D.D,E.'s literary magazine, better known to students as the Kaleido- scope, celebrated its second birth- day this year. The staff worked vi- gorously throughout the year, gathering poetry, stories, themes, and many other forms of writing given to them by students, Their purpose then, is to select the best writings and form them into a ma- gazine that contains creativeness and interesting works of art. The staff works under the supervi- sion of Mrs. Cathy Champion and Mrs. Carolyn Hill, Kaleidoscope staff: lClockwisel John Morfoot, Cindy Crawford, Carolyn Love, Paula Wagner, Vickie Hill, Guy Casper, Ruth Novitt, and Mary Gricus, lClock- wise, centerl Karen Selle, Mary Beth Canada, Gina Cavalieri, and Marsha O'Brian, Speech Teom Sounds Off This year's speech team was under the new leadership of Mrs. Linda Monjar and Mrs. Kathleen Lorber. The team competed in individual events at speech tournaments with- in lllinois. One of their many travels took the speech team to Northwes- tern University in November, for an oral interpretation festival.
