Dads and Daughters Swing2Their Partners This year's theme for Dad and Daughter Date Night, held November 22, was Swing Your Partner , The evening opened with a pleasant welcome by Girls' Club presi- dent, Diane Taft. Entertainment included Kathy Blain singing a song and playing a piano solo. A come dy skit entitled Bus Stop was performed by Mark Disabato and Bill Ohst. Ruth Bu- chanan also sang a solo followed by Dave Hemmer doing a medley of songs on his guitar. Diane Taft read the winning theme which was written by Chris Patchin about her grandfather. The evening ended with refreshments and dancing to music by Shades of Blue. 1 i 3 1. Gayle Giles and .io- anne Slowik were greet ed at the door on Dad- and Daughter Date Night, 2. Chris Patchin and her grandfather were awarded the best theme prize. 3, Terry Lessan and her dance partner were among those whirling to the music.
