Dads and Daughters Swing2Their Partners This year's theme for Dad and Daughter Date Night, held November 22, was Swing Your Partner , The evening opened with a pleasant welcome by Girls' Club presi- dent, Diane Taft. Entertainment included Kathy Blain singing a song and playing a piano solo. A come dy skit entitled Bus Stop was performed by Mark Disabato and Bill Ohst. Ruth Bu- chanan also sang a solo followed by Dave Hemmer doing a medley of songs on his guitar. Diane Taft read the winning theme which was written by Chris Patchin about her grandfather. The evening ended with refreshments and dancing to music by Shades of Blue. 1 i 3 1. Gayle Giles and .io- anne Slowik were greet ed at the door on Dad- and Daughter Date Night, 2. Chris Patchin and her grandfather were awarded the best theme prize. 3, Terry Lessan and her dance partner were among those whirling to the music.

Foir Lodies Hove Night Out lVlother and Daughter Night, held last spring, turned out to be a great success. A candle lighting ceremony was held to induct new club officers. The Girl's Club put a lot of time and effort in making it a worthwhile evening and in Carrying out the theme of lVly Fair Lady. 1. Nina Brooks pins on her mother's corsage. 2. Arvette Brown gives a bouquet of roses to lVIrs. Baker, sponsor. 3. Mothers and daughters enjoying presentation. 4. Mrs. Crawford smiles happily at daughter Cindy after receiving the award for best mom. 5. Kathy Blain entertains the mothers and daughters. 2 4

Turnobout: Lody's Choice This year's annual Turnabout Dance, sponsored by Girls' Club, was held in the Campus Gym, Nlu- sic was supplied by Nl 84 R Rush and the theme was Moonshadow .
