National champion and olympic vvinner Judy Johnson and l-larold Cotes gave a fine per- formance tor the student body. Many vvere amazed at the dangerous stunts that they per- formed. With trampoline being a popular class, many students could appreciate Miss John- son's skill and coordina- tion. At an assembly given by Paul Yearout, he discussed sex, morals and human relations. l-le also remained on cam- pus the full day discuss- ing vvith students his vievvs and theirs. 1 iii. Many hardworking hours were spent by the soph- omore class in preparing for basketball home- coming. Since it was held on valentines day it seemed an appropriate time to choose a queen and court. Randy Eil, ASB secretary ot state was the master of ceremonies and announced the win- ners. Carol Bahnsen was tirst announced as soph- omore sweetheart, followed by the crowning ot Carol Glazier as junior darling. The queen tinal- ists were then escorted across the basketball court. Wendy Uhl was named first princess.
