Hypnotist George Sharp amazed many with his outstanding performance. Students volunteered to participate prior to that day, so all was set up and waiting for Mr. Sharp. l-le caught the attention of the audience by proving his hypnotic powers. Soon the participants were transformed from frightened children, and beauty queens to the romantic Romeo and Juliet. The spaghetti feed was given in honor of our fall sports. The football, water polo and cross country teams were served by Azurettes. All the pep squad groups performed and showed their support for our teams. Homecoming activities began vvith spirit week. The winners of the spirit window contest were announced at the pep assembly that vveek. Mr. Smith's third period class vvon first place, vvhile Mr. Muckenfusss class vvon second. All that week clubs and classes worked hard to get their floats finished for the homecoming parade. Five floats competed in the float contest. Out of the five, three were awarded prizes. TOP: Senior classes first place float. MIDDLE: Mr, Smith and his third period class vvith their vvin- ning window. BOTTOM: Members of American Field Service repre- sent different countries in home- coming parade. activities 17
