FCDREWORD XVe ol the Nornir stall' dedicate this hook, not to any individual: but, lather, we dedicate it to a group of individuals, all ol' whom work coopera- tively to create and maintain what is named Eichel- berger High School. Our group, the Class ol' 1956, can look with pride upon its accomplislnnents in this school, accom- plishments that were old various types: athletic, academic, and extrafcurricular. XVe had leaders in all phases ol' our school and community activity: we had students who made nothing lower than A on any report cardg we had line athletes who did their hest lor our school teams-we had all this, and more: lor we had a loyal and industrious group. In this group are the people who now will go on. On to college, or to an ofhee, or to a farm, or to 21 factory. These are we, and we are the people of the coming age, with prolihc ideas that may some- day translornx the old ideas and give us material progress beyond our present conception. Let us hope this hook will remind us, in the future, that somewltere, somehow our ideas, the products ol' our thought, developed and matured. Let us hope we will not lorget the school and the teachers who passed their ideas and beliefs on to us. In short, let us remember Eichelberger Senior High School.
