The Graduating Class of i956 The leaders of our hnal year: R. Iiiserman, Pres., D, XVolfskill, V. Pres.: J. Garrett, Trcas.g S. Trone, Sec. Entering li. H. S. in l953, we-fresh, green sophomores, the class ol' l956-were graciously re- ceived into the ranks ol the student body. After becoming adjusted to the new atmosphere, our dramatically inclined classmates shone in their pre- sentation ol' The lNlagnificent Obsession , our warblers sparkled in the operetta, A lllaltz Dream. Meanwhile, the athletes were indoctrin- ated in football, basketball, wrestling, tennis, and trac-kg here they gained their experience and skill to continue in their luture endeavors. The femi- nine portion ol' the class was also building the class ol' 1956 a line sports' record. The climax of the year was the traditional senior liarewell dance, the theme ol' which was l estiyal ol' Roses. Our junior year was characterized by many suc- cessful attempts by members ol the class to tnake their loundations of learning, sports, and recreation more concrete. Murder Has lleen .Xrranged, a play presented by the class, outshone last year's performance. The sports' minded, also, exceeded last year's athletic record. An industrious, fruit- ful year ended with the memory of Blossom Time, the Senior Prom. Having become prohcient in our various skills, we, as seniors, were prepared to guide the under- classmen in band, chorus, sporting events, Red Gross, and on the Orange and Black and on the Nornir staffs. The truly outstanding dramatic pre- sentation of our career was given in the form of a play entitled, Time Out For Ginger. The athletic showing of our classmates was brilliant beyond all our expectations. The seniors had at- tained the apex of their career. Baccalaureate Service, Campus Day, Award As- sembly, Senior Prom all passed swiftly to introduce us to the happy, yet sad, occasion, our graduation. ICDWYXA S.
