the iDfbQiEilFJQ3 STFEXIUF of nnngsmrmg Someone has said: To the swiftest goes the race With these words we cannot always agree, for here at E.H.S. we know there is more than winning the game that the virtue is in how we play it. This year it is the pleasure of the SIGNET staff to dedicate this year- book to the people who teach us the ideals of playing the game right. They have shown us that discourage- ment will bring failure but that inspiration brings suc- cess. Their infinite patience, generosity of time in teaching of sportsmanship as well as citizenship de- serve our gratitude and applause. Therefore, E.H.S. Athletic Department, we of the 1959 SIGNET staff salute you! SECOND ROW: Mr. Goodfellow, golf, Mrs. Frese, bowling and physical educationg Mr. Klosterman, varsity football coach and physical education.
