Seniors Are Front Page News £ Senior Class president John Rendleman holds court with other class officers--Jamie McLauchlan, treasurer; Sally Eihausen, secretary; and Stacey A bert, vice-president. “Big Bruce”’ Is Show Stopper When June 8 rolls around, E.H.S. will lose two of its more talented ‘“‘characters’’--Bruce Klobnak and Kevin Kitchens. Bruce and Kevin share the ability to impersonate well-known personali- ties including Paul Lynde, John Wayne, Billy Graham, Preach, assorted coaches and teachers and a host of others. Also included in their reper- toire are birds, ripping paper, animals, typewriters, and a variety of other sound effects. Well known in home room and other circles, the duo came to school- wide prominence in March when they took first place in the Student Council Variety Show. Highlight of the evening was their prize winning performance of “Big Bruce,”’ which brought them a standing ovation and $25 prize money. (cont. in col. 2) Bruce Klobnak and Kevin Kit- chens delighted the crowd at the Variety Show. As an entertaining encore, they played a few individual ‘‘classroom’’ dates. Seniors Leave Over $600 According to tradition, when the senior class reaches its long awaited graduation day it leaves behind some memento or remembrance. This year’s senior class had a difficult time deciding what form their “class gift’’ should take. Ideas under consideration included donating any remaining class mo ney to the marquee fund or to the school improvement fund. Money in the class amounted to over $600. The class treasury was fed through the years by selling popcorn, letterettes, candy bars, and by holding a raffle at Fall Festival. Largest expenditure for the class of '77 was the 1976 Jr.-Sr. Prom, considered one of the best ever given. (see photos pp. 198-199) treasury Top Wrestler Senior Phil Brazier has compiled a rather impressive record as one of the top wrestlers at E.H.S. He sports a high school career record of 42-34-1, with more wins than any other senior on the wrestling team. Over the years, Brazier has had 21 falls to his credit, with the fastest coming in 48 seconds. His '76-’77 record is 25-10, winning more matches and being credited with more falls than any of his teammates. Wrestling since he was in eighth grade, Brazier has spent three years as Tiger varsity Wrestler in the 132 pound weight class. Though wrestling holds his main sports interest, he played three years of football at E.H.S., church league basketball, and intramural soccer. (related photos p.146)
