Unspecified mind and flesh and bone were his materials. Oh, there were blue prints — guide-lines drawn by builders who had worked and dreamed before and by the Master Builder. These never shou how to keep an impressive capstone from slipping down with ordinary brick, or how to help an ordinary brick that wants to be a spire, or how to protect them all from chips and scars. That was his job. His breathing stones could feel his warmth, flash back his smiles treasure and keep forever those parts of his mind he freely gave. So also have they eyes to weep and hearts to mourn the loss. Carpenters build houses; engineers build bridges; scientists build rockets— but teachers build the builders.
