 oenior ELECTED BY THE SENIOR CLASS JIM MARKS, a basketball and track star of unusual ability also found time to be our Tiger Advertising Manager and President of the Hi-Y. He has done a great deal to make our school a success in all activities. An outstanding honor was conferred upon our school this year when ELEANOR SPRINGER was chosen as one of the forty winners in the United States to receive a Science Award of a trip to Washington, D. C. and a scholarship. She is also credited with being a member of the Quill and Scroll. As President of Student Council and Hi-Tri Council, NINA JANE HEADY has proved to be a true leader in every way. She is also a member of the Tiger Advertising Staff.

 I h tonalities BETTY BAUGHMAN, who was elected our Daughters of the American Revolution citizen, deserves much praise as Assistant Editor in making the Tiger a success this year. She is also Vice-president of the Hi-Tri Council and a member of the Quill and Scroll. Sports Editor of the Tiger and Secretary-Treasurer of the Senior Class, NORMAN NILSSON, was outstanding in football, track, and basketball. He will long be remembered for his leadership at EHS. JIM FLAVIN, one of the most dependable workers in EHS, has accomplished a great deal as Photography Editor on the Tiger Staff. Jim, who is President of the Senior Class and President of the Band, also finds time to be the leader of our school orchestra. ■I
