IN MEMORY OF: Mr. Dean Abendroth, former teacher of Edwards County High School. He began teaching biology at E.C.H.S. in 1959. During his 20 years, he became known to all as Mr. Dean. He was a teacher and friend to all of the students and administration. In 1979 Mr. Dean retired from teaching, but continued to fill in whenever the school needed help. Mr. Abendroth passed away August 14, 1985. He was a kind, considerate man and those who knew him could only love him. He is remembered for all those positive qualities he exemplified. Mr. Dean is missed not only by his family but by the community and by the hundreds of students who had their lives touched by him. SOUTHERN ILLINOIS LUMBER CO.
