Look at those legs. 2. Do you believe he missed this shot. 3. May I have this dance? VARSITY BASKETBALL The 1981-82 boys basketball team enjoyed a very successful year. Although the Hornets started off the first half of the season with a 3-5 slate, they came back to win 8 in a row including big upsets over Heuvelton, Morristown, Lisbon, and Harrisville. At the time of publication, the Hornets had not yet gone to the play-offs, but the chances looked good for Section X victory. Ken Davison and Mike O’Hearn were the only seniors; both of these players were nominated for All-Northern along with Bill Davison. The Hornets look forward to another successful season next year. 26

Goose, Goose. 2. Tickle, Tickle. 3. Drive, Drive. J.V. BASKETBALL The J.V. team was led by the superb ball handling of rookie Mike Lennox and the veteran Chris Averill. The center slot was filled by the towering Wes Zeller who would rather slam his opponent than look for his rebound. Completing the first string, and playing in the forward slots, were the aggressive efforts of Tracy Typhair and Scott Kroniser. Key players from the bench were T. J. LaPlant and Gary Hall, who always pull- ed through in a pinch. Other important players on the bench were: Jerry Wier, Bryan Davison, Mike McCor- mick, and Jeff Zeller. This impressive line-up brought home 4 out of 6 trophies at their Christmas tourney and a perfect 16-0 record. CONGRATULATIONS!
