Although the Hornets started off the first half of the season with a 3-5 slate, they came back to win 8 in a row including big upsets over Heuvelton, Morristown, Lisbon, and Harrisville. At the time of publication, the Hornets had not yet gone to the play-offs, but the chances looked good for Section X victory. Ken Davison and Mike O’Hearn were the only seniors; both of these players were nominated for All-Northern along with Bill Davison. The Hornets look forward to another successful season next year. 26
