Marching against tough competition, the ECS Band participated in fifteen parades this past summer. The Hornets proved their marching excellence on two occasions. One of these first place wins was at the Jefferson County Fair. Losing by fractions of points, the Hornets took four second place positions. At the New York State Fair, ECS placed sixth, while our Drum Major Cy Waugh, placed first in the state.
