Things were somewhat gloomy for the 1980 Baseball squad as the year ended with a 2-6 season record. The team was led in hitting by the “Littlest Hornet,” T.J. LaPlant, with a .333 batting average. Mike O’Hearn was the leading defensive player and Ken Davison the most versatile. With most of the players returning next year, our boys are looking at a more ex- perienced squad and are hoping for a much improved year. 3
