GAA The GAA (Girls Athletic Association) and Varsity Club are two of the largest and most important organizations in the school. In order to be in the Varsity Club, boys must earn a letter then additional merits may be earned once in the organiza- tion. Girls are allowed to join GAA in 7th grade and earn letters, trophies, etc. . . .once they are in the organization. The highest award given for more active girls who have earned 4,000 points is a GAA letter sweater. These clubs give boys and girls a chance to participate in active sports and promote sportsmanship. The more active boys who participate in all sports achieve a jacket. For every sport a boy participates in he receives a letter “E” at the end of the year. VARSITY CLUB
