•iletlitattim We, the Senior Class of 1960, dedicate our yearbook in remembrance of Miss Bernice McGill, our high school mathematics teacher. Miss McGill, bom September 30, 1903, was a member of the Edwards faculty for fifteen years. She graduated from St. Lawrence University and completed her grad- uate work at Columbia University and New York University. She began her teaching career in Worchester where she taught for one year. She then taught two years in Rotter- dam, fourteen years in Lake Mahopac, one year in Pleasantville, and fifteen years in Edwards. Miss McGill accompanied many senior classes on their annual senior trips. She had also represented Supervisory District 1 at the House of Delegates. Miss McGill traveled extensively. She went to Bermuda, Alaska, Gaspe Pen- insula, Canadian Rockies and visited eleven European countries. Miss McGill died September 27, 1959 and was buried on her fifty-sixth birthday. We of the senior class, the entire student body, her fellow faculty-members, and the members of the community who knew her as a loyal and willing worker all miss her deeply. Her influence among present and former students cannot be measured, but it can be appreciated. We affectionately dedicate this yearbook of 1960 to the memory of Miss Bernice McGill. Sharon Hart
