SCHOOL CAFETERIA The cafeteria of Edwards Central School started serving lunches on Monday, October 25. Copies of menus to be »erved were submitted last week by Mrs. Ray Webb, Home Economics teacher in the school. The set-up of the hot lunch programs through the National School Lunch Act is administered through the State Education Department. The room in the basement for the cafeteria was formerly an unused room which has been decorated with paint donated by the P.T.A.. The central district has installed the equipment and students enrolled in the Home Economics course have varnished and shellacked the tables and benches and painted cupboards, built after the room was painted. Mrs. Hattie Cassidy and Mrs. Clarence Barker are in charge of preparing the food. The lunch hour was staggered. The primary children eat first, followed by the intermediate grades, then the junior and senior high school pupils.
