Member of Assembly Board. Chairman of Visual Education Committee. Robert C. Chandler, B.S., Ed.M. Chemistry and Biology Born in Columbia Falls, Maine. Prepared at Columbia Falls High School. Received his B.S. degree from Colby College, and his Master of Education degree from Bates College. XNas principal of Sabattus High School. Taught at Edward Little. Served in the Army three years. Was graduated from Morse High School. Operated the Andrews Machine Company from 1929-1939. He started the training for defense in 1940, under state supervision. He has been in the machine business for thirty years. He came to Edward Little in 1944.

Miss Margaret Gardner, B.A. English Born in Brunswick, Maine. Prepared at Edward Little High School. VVas graduated from Bates College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Attended summer sessions at Bates, Boston University, and Emerson. Before coming to Edward Little in 1943, she taught at Norridgewock, Old Orchard Beach, and Brewer, Maine. She is chairman of the Assemhly Board, and is on the junior Class Committee, and the Oracle Staff. Donald M. Gay, B.A. Music Born in Casco, Maine. Prepared at Casco High School. At- tended the University of Maine, where he received the degree of Bachelor of Arts. Taught at NNilliams College: Berwick Academy, and Spaulding High School, Rochester, New Hamp- shire, He is director of the Band and Chorus, and has or- ganized a Swing Band.
