Studied at Bates Summer School in 1919. In Maine she has taught in Mechanic Falls, .Lisbon Falls, Livermore Falls, at Edward Little, and at Deering High. In Massachusetts she has taught in Beverly and XN'est Newhury. She returned to Edward Little in 1943. Faculty adviser for Station E. L. H. S. Serves on the Senior Class Committee. Graduated from Gardner High School. Attended Cushing Academy and Bates College. He taught at Webster, and was a Freshman Coach at Bates College before coming to Edward Little. Miss Jessie W. Alley, B.A., M.A. Born in Massachusetts. Prepared at Edward Little. Was graduated from Bates College, with a Bachelor of Arts de- gree. Did graduate work at the University of Vermont, and at Bates, where she received the Master of Arts degree. Came to Edward Little in 1915. Facility adviser of the Latin Club. Born in New York City, New York. Prepared at Oakwood School, Poughkeepsie, New York. Attended Emerson Col- lege, Boston, Massachusetts. Studied at Teachers' College, Columbia University, 1929-1930. Taught at Morse High School, Bath, Maine, and at Ossining School for Girls, Ossining, New York, before coming to Edward Lit- tle in 1932. Came to Edward Little in 1919. Drew plans for renovating the old Edward Little building, 1929-1930. He is the director of the Vocational Department, and he is in charge of place- ment service for senior boys. Page Sixteen Graydon Burns Jllachine Opcralimi Born in VViscasset, Maine. Was graduated from Morse High School. Operated the Andrews Machine Company from 1929-1939. He started the training for defense in 1940, under state supervision. He has been in the machine business for thirty years. He came to Edward Little in 1944.
