jn Memoriam MR. MELVIN MORTIMER These characteristics mark a man who has been accorded the respect and love of students and teachers alike. With his ready smile and cheery greeting, Mr. Mortimer inspired trust and confidence in all whom he met. His gentlemanly manner and friendly approach truly reflected his kindness and consideration toward his associates and pupils. After his transfer from Macomber Vocational High School to Libbey, he tendered twenty-one years of faithful and loyal service to our school as an expert in the field of electricity and as an outstanding teacher of mathematics. For his constancy and goodness, he merits our respect, loyalty, and love as well as the deep serenity of peace that is his now. We shall remember him in the long years ahead as a perfect gentleman and the epitome of integrity. The thought of his indomitable cheerfulness in spite of ill health will always be an inspiration to us.
