Giving to Libbey a distinct personality are the students who study, learn, and achieve within these walls. Each class has its own traits and mores which impart to its members .1 distinct individuality, yet it is this symbiotic relationship that gives Libbey its pulse and its heartbeat. To the freshman, eager and naive, Libbey has just begun to be more than a symbol. For the enthusiastic sophomores, high school classes are rapidly becoming an integral part of life. To the sophisticated juniors, whose class rings symbolize their growth and maturity, knowledge and culture have become accepted worthwhile goals. For the seniors. who, exuberant yet doleful, cannot halt the progress towards the termin- ation of their careers at Libbey, the memories of former years are already becoming clouded with faint nostalgia. Like all vast institutions, Libbey maintains its stability by the process of constant altera- tion and adaptation. We who are Libbey also change during our four years of pursuing knowledge, and these pages are the appropriate annals of our school life. 4:25,: - QETUUENTX7
