.911 emoriam i455 race Lbeogdd In our hearts will long remain fond memories of Miss Grace DeLisle, who since 1926 devoted her training and talents to the enrichment of the lives of the students at Libbey. She was always loyal to the principles of our school and enthusiastic in the per- formance of all her educational duties. To her many students she imparted her high ideals, an understanding of American and English literature, and an appreciation of the many foreign countries which she visited. All who knew her revered and loved her for the enthusiasm, consideration, and integrity which she manifested. Her willingness to aid others and to give unselfishly of her time has set an example for us in the years ahead. By devoting her life to the advancement of the education of the youth of our community, she achieved life's highest goal and pleasure, service to others. To live in the hearts one leafves behind is not to die. guy:

Mr. Rusie's gracious personality and his en- during loyalty to Libbey will have a lasting ef- fect upon our lives, for his sincerity and friend- liness have impressed us with some idea of the nobility of character possessed by a great man and, even more, a gentleman. No matter what pressing problems are on his busy schedule, Mr. Rusie, with his characteristic good humor, is never too busy to listen to our urgent problems, applaud our triumphs, or greet us with a re- assuring smile. Whether he is congratulating a top scholar or arousing the football team to greater efforts, Libbey is always foremost in his thoughts. For his fairness, patience, and in- terest in our every problem, we, the graduat- ing class of 1960, proudly salute our sincere and beloved principal. LQY W. RUSIE Principal Mr. Rusie confers with the officers of the Student Council: Gary McLar- gin, sergeant-at-arms, Sue West, secre- tary-treasurerg Ron Curtis, vice-presi- dentg and John Petterson, president.
