DETDICATION Having come as a pioneer teacher to Libbey High School, the great school in the South Side community in which she was born and reared, has always been a matter of great pride and pleasure to Theresa M. Coehrs, who has given us such sincere and splendid service for many years. A graduate of old Central High School and Toledo Normal Training School, Miss Coehrs later was granted the degree of Bachelor of Arts at Toledo University. At interesting intervals from that time forward she continued her education at Toledo University, at Middlebury, Vermont, and at' El Centro de Estudios Historicos in Madrid, Spain. Her early years of teaching were experienced at Newton School, now known as Marshall School. Later she taught for three years at Old Woodward High School. Throughout her life the hobbies of Miss Coehrs have been books, the theatre, travel, and the study of foreign languages. Her love of visiting strange places took her to Porto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Montreal, Quebec, the Gaspe Peninsula, Nova Scotia, and practically all of the United States. During one of her two visits to Europe, she was privileged to witness the Passion Play at Oberammergau, Germany. To us, her students at Libbey, she has been best known as a teacher of Spanish and English. Her conscientious work, her serene good nature, and her serious wish to teach her pupils goodness of character as well as excellence in subject matter have won for her our deep respect and sincere admir- ation. Thus it is with affection and regard that we the Class of 1945 dedicate to Miss Theresa M. Coehrs this Edelian and express to her our best wishes for her happiness and success.
