On a certain night the Senior Class of 1959 were all in their beds, concentratlng on what we might be doing in the year 1979 As each of us fell into a deep sleep the fttwre seemed to unfold before us First of all we see an 1mage of New York City L1VlHg in the great city is one of our leading vocalists Floyd Pitt man is the idol of all teenage girls as he gets his guitar strings and vocal cords vibrating His side bwrns and suede Cadillas are his trademarks Next we travel to our old home town and see another of our classmates Eileen CParkerD Myers is one of Hdson's leadlng citizens Her husband, Myron, has a well established super market chain scattered throughout town We see seven little Myers tagginh behind mother as she gree s her husband at the door on their 20th anniversary While we are in the metropolis of Edson we notice an old maid school teacher that looks familiar As we turn over in bed we can see the face of Hazel Somers we see her helolng her little first arithmetic work, we see her graders do their reading, writing, and we journey nome with her after a hard days mansion sitting on a h1ll As we walk, up fore we have to turn over on our other side to get comfort able again Next we notice astion in our drea It is a baseball scene in St Louis We recognize Ronn e Musil on the mound The ST Louians are having a special day for their greatest pitcher since Dizzy Dean He has just received a shower of gifts and as he walks off the mound he announces that he has just retired from baseball His career has been a long and distinguished one Moving on in our dream we notice another classmate, Elaine C Owensl Freiburger Lincoln Air Force Base is the scene of this stop We see Mrs Frelbxrper taking care of her five children and getting ready to entertain hex hus band's fellow generals Next, we see a farmer and his wife Avonell and Marty Spomer have just finished their new ranch house A success ful period of years have just passed for our nations farme s' and the Spomers h ve profited from these bountiful years The cost of living has gone up and with nine children it had to be profitable Last of all we see in our dream a fine old chape As he arrives at his fine looking home, whlch is an exclusive apartment house, in his Thunderbird, we notice a dignified man driving we recognize him as Gary Peters He has be come a lawyer and stockmarket broker and is hnown nationwide for his ability in those fields As we talk to him we find that 1sn't all that he has accomplished in his short life First he had been an All American guard at Kansas State in Basketball He then had had his own telexision show u ich 342170 was a variety and comedy show He had then entered his present occupation and has reached the point of success h is at today Suddenly we hear someone calling, it is our mothers call ing telllng us we had better hurry because there is choci today at old ECHS So, having seen the future we feel quite N PN Q . . e . relieved to know how things will happen to us.
