The Class of 1976 in a thought¬ ful moment before receiving diplomas. Deb Kissinger helps Cathy Beres with her graduation cap. The Senior Ensemble en¬ tertains at Graduation Services with two songs, The American ' s Creed and Let There Be Peace On Earth, directed by Mr. James Gallehue. On Sunday, May 30, 1976, seventy-six Edon Seniors marched into the Edon High School Gymnasium. After the processional, the Invocation was given by Rev. Robert Heinlein. The Rev. Jack Stutler gave the Baccalaureate Sermon, Remember God. The Senior Ensemble, directed by Mr. James Gallehue, sang two songs, and awards were presented by Mr. Adams and Mr. Charles Swogger, High School Principal. Members of the Class of 1976 were introduced by Mr. Swogger as Mr. Lamar Allomong, President of the Board of Education, presented them with their diplomas. The Benediction was given by Pastor Paul Williams. The Graduating Class of 1976 chose the colors red, white, and blue as their class colors in honor of the Bicentennial and the white carnation as their class flower. As their motto the Seniors chose, Do not follow where the path leads, Rather, go where there is no path and leave a trail. Mr. Swogger, Edon High School Principal, introduces the class of 1976. The Edon High School Band prepares to provide the music for Graduation. They played the Processional and Recessional music, and a special song, Avatara, after the Invocation. I
