Library Club FRONT ROW: Mrs. Culbertson, Advisor, Jim Hay, Nancy Stutts, Chris Jeske. 2nd ROW: Ellen Sutton, Sheila Dean, Becky Hawkins, Sue Hartley, Debbie Smith, Willa Hanson. 3rd ROW: Vickie Ingersoll, Linda Conley, Debbie Gos- horn, Kathy Bowles, Arlean Harris, Karen Armstrong. This was a year of reorganization for the EHS Library Club. There are fourteen members for the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. They were required to work in the library for a minimum of two periods a week. Their duties included checking attendance, stamping out books, shelving books, helping with inventory, and helping to process new the books. The Library Club sponsored the annual Paperback Book Fair, February 12 thru 16 at the high school and February 19 thru 29 at Northwest Elementary at Cooney and Edon Middle School. They sold over $500 worth of books. Part of the profits made from the Book Fair was used to finance the club ' s trip to the Bowling Green State University at Bowling Green. The club toured the University library facilities and was shown the micro¬ film room, the computerized check out desk and the metal detecting book loss prevention system. Mrs. Culbertson, high school librarian, was the club ' s sponsor. The club ' s officers are: President, Jim Hay; Vice-President, Mary Dewitt; Secretary, Deb Goshorn; Treasurer, Chris Jesk; Reporter, Nancy Stutts. 6
