CLASS PROPHECY One warm June evening as ! was THE PORCH OF MY HOME MY THOUGHTS BEGAN AS THEY WERE SO OFTEN PRONE TO DO. SELF RISING AND RISING WITH THE SPEED I REALIZED I WAS IN ONE OF THE V-8 TRAVELING TWENTY YEARS INTO THE FUTURE SITTING ON TO WANDER I FELT MY- OF SOUND, Ro CK ETS IN A FEW SECONDS I CAME OVER A LARGE AND TY, I LANDED ON A TALL, FLAT-TOPPED I RODE THE ATOMATON TO WALKING DOWN THE BUSI- WAS IN THE CITY OF EdnEY- the Chamber of Commerce THE PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT THRIVING BUILDING IN THE THE GROUND FLOOR, AFTER EST BOULEVARD I FOUND I VILLE IN 1968, I WENT TO TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT CITY. SaRAH, Clarence, Ted, Ralph, and I went to dinner to¬ gether THAT EVENING, WE TALKED OF OLD TIMES FAR INTO THE NIGHT. CLARENCE TOLD HOW EDNEYVILLE HAD GROWN FROM A MERE VILLAGE TO A GREAT CITY 0 I PROPOSEO WE HUNT UP THE REST OF THE CLASS AND HAVE A REAL REUNION. The next morning Sarah and I started down Main Street, store. They were TIRED FROM THEIR STRENUOUS WORK BUT PROMISED TO BE AT THE REUNION. And now for the first time I was to see the famous Burch ' s clinic hailed in every country as THE GREATEST ADVANCE IN MODERN CLINICAL TECHNI¬ QUE, Drs, Burch and Burch had jointly received the Nobel prize in medicine, Drs, Burch and Burch were William Burch ano June Searcy, who HAD COMINEO THEIR TALENTS SO EFFECTIVELY, THEY WERE VERY MODEST, GIVING A LOT OF CREDIT TO Pat Busbee and Beada Huntley, the laboratory techni¬ cians, and Betty Griffin, Dot Whiteside, Lila Dalton, and Ruth Drake, who head the nursin© staff , In the residential section we met Mr. and Mrs. Jack Freeman, Mrs. Freeman the former Lib Stepp; and Mr, and Mrs, Toby Tabor, Mrs. Tabor THE FORMER GRACE EdNEY. BOTH LlB AND GRACE HAD SIX CHILDREN AND WERE VERY HAPPY. As WE DROVE INTO THE COUNTRY, WE CAME UPON THE ESTATE OF MR. AND MRS. BoYCE EnLIE, MR S. Boyce Enloe being the former Frances Martin. They owneo one of the most important farms in TH IS CO UNTRY.
