Four of Bill Baker's six-completed passes were touchdown passes. October 1-SWEENY 6 EDNA 27 Limiting the Bulldogs to only one touchdown and 87 yards rushing, the Cowboys scored four touchdowns and rolled up 247 yards in a well-played game. October 8-GOLIAD 7 EDNA 22 An overflow crowd watched the Cowboys win their ninth straight victory'by scoring twice in the last eight minutes.
