Hzstory oi Class of 51 Our class entered Edmore I-hgh as green' frosh wlth nxneteen members They were Delphxne Anderson Paul Arneson Ga1l Askelson Ramon Bartel Fred B1r1 Jack Bratten Bermce Brekke Beth Collms Aldus Dahl Aletta Dav1s Bud Errckson Phylhs Fjalstad Opal Klrkrelt Av1s Krogfoss Hazel Myrvlk Paul Novacek Amer Roseth Lyle Tollefson and Buzzy Twaddle After we had hved through 1n1t1at1on strlct drscxplme and hard studylng for a year the teachers were kmd enough to make us Sophomores Thxs year we were lackmg Bermce Brekke who had transferred to Oak Grove Semmary m Fargo and Gall Askelson Hazel Myrvrk and Fred B1r1 Upon enterlng our Jumor year we d1scovered we had lost Bud Erlckson who had transferred to Grand Forks and had been honored by the presence of Lynn Hjelrnstad who had transferred from Adams Hlgh makmg an unlucky number of thxrteen ln the class Unlucky though the number was we all succeeded IH berng promoted to the Semor class The unlucky thxrteen made lts appearance known however thls year when we found to our horror that we had no money' As a. matter of fact we were mneteen dollars 1n the red Through selhng pop candy and what have you we ra1sed our fmanc1al status consmderably After our Semor play ' Toby Helps Out we declded we were rtch enough to take a four day tmp Upon our return we were flat broke We were sorry to hear that two of our boys w1ll not be present for graduatmn Buzzy and Lynn have Doth recelved their calls for the navy After graduatxon .Tack and Alner plan to enter the Alr Force The class IS headed by Phylhs Fjalstad va1ed1ctor1an and Aletta Davls salut ator1an 14 ' I ' ' ll I ' ' . . . , . . . . . ,, . also Avis Krogfoss who had left Edmore.
