Semor Trzp On Thursday May 17 thlrteen Semors left Edmore school for then- annual Semor tr1p Places of lnterest vxsxted were Walhalla Wmmpeg Kenora Internatlonal Falls and Bemxdjx Thursday mornmg we stopped at Walhalla to look at the scenery from Lookout Moun tam a part of the Pembma Mountalns from wh1ch we could see over Walhalla and surroundmg country We enjoyed the beautlful scenery The afternoon was spent shop pmg 1n Wmmpeg ln vxsltmg CKY radxo statlon and seemg a show at a drlve rn theatre Frxday mormng the class enjoyed a llttle more of the educatxonal klnd of sxght see mg by gomg to the beautlful St Boniface Cathedral Asslmbome Park and Parhament Bulldmg After eatmg dlnner at the rltzy Ch1ld's Cafe we left for Kenora Ontarxo and hllls The scenery was so romantxc that many of the Semors became honeymoon minded Kenora w1th xts beautrful cabxns overlookmg Lake of the Woods seemed an xdeal spot Saturday seemed an Ideal txrne to leave for BClT11dJl so we were off just after break fast We went through the Customs Offlce at St Frances and stopped at lnternatxonal Falls where we walked out on the dam and watched the water pourmg rn from only one of the locks After eatmg a d611C1OL1S p1cn1c dmner 1n the car whlle lt was raxmng we contmued our journey When we reached Bemxdjx we checked m at our cablns and decxded to do a llttle more slght seemg not wantmg to rmss Paul Bunyan and Babe After eatlng breakfast at one of the cablns Sunday rnormng we started the long rlde home stopprng flrst at the arrport to watch the Navy planes land and take off One of the cars stopped off nn Crookston Consndermg who the occupants of the car were some of us were a bxt concerned about the stop We dld have an enjoyable and memorable trip' We apprec1ated the efforts of our chaperones and drrvers Mzss Hahn Mr Peterson Larry Knoke and Paul Novacek 13 I I ' - I . .
