SENIOR HIGH MUSIC The band opened the year by marching at the football games with pre-game and half time shows. In the fall we journeyed to Ferris Institute and the University of Michigan for their band days. We made a good showing at District Band Festival and earned a II rating. Several mem- bers entered Solo Sz Ensemble with good ratings. A Cornet soloist qualified to go to state where he also recieved a I rating. The Band Banquet was held on May 14. We marched in McBrides on Mayor's Day, in Edmore for Crazy Tuesday with our finale being the Memorial Day Parade. The choir sang at the Thanksgiving assembly and on 7th and 8th grade day. The entire Sr. High Music Department joined forces to present our annual Christmas and Spring concerts.
