The Clippers of Patterson copped the title as Coach Dyke's nine dropped five of fourteen league games. First round losses to Dunbar, 3-2, Carver, 2-1, and Patterson, 5-3, were avenged in the second round by 20-11, 66-3, and 6-5 wins respectively. Edmondson ballplayers received recognition for their ability and achievement. Jim Rafferty was voted to the News-Post's All M. S.A first team. Raff batted .256, but was passed many times. Wal1t Downey held the shortstop post on the Sunpapefs All-Star Schoolboy baseball team. ,lohn Miller, who threw a no-hitter at Calvert Hall, and catcher Earl Miller, received honorable mention on both teams.
