The curtain has once again risen and fallen on another school year at Edmondson. We, the staff of the VIEW, have chosen dramatics and the play as a fitting comparison with Edmondson's school year. Our theme, uBehind the curtainls mystic folds the glowing future lies unrolledfi shows very simply the similarity between the two. To carry out this theme, we have done away with the usual subdivisions and have this year divided the book into three acts or seasons. Our cast of characters is large and varied in interests and abilities thus lending color and excitement to the play. Our stars are the administrators and faculty who produced and directed our endeavors to a happy and successful end. The supporting actors are the students each offering their special talents. In sports, each win is the most exciting point. In scholarship, each achievement is more rewarding than the one before. Each successful activity is a climax to those who participate. The true climax of our scho-ol year cannot in fact be pinpointed. To every individual who works and learns comes a separate and unique climax. It may be graduation, achieving honors for scholarship or athletics, maintaining an eighty average, or activities successfully completed. Although, in a play, the curtain rises on the first act and falls on the last, the curtain remains open on our last act, Spring. This represents the continuance of learning at Edmondson.
