Mrs. Julia Crimes and Mrs. Stella Gersuk. the sponsors of the club. were happy to see boys joining its membership. FUTURE NURSES OF AMERICA Saint Vincent's Orphanage was visited during the Christ- mas season by the Future Nurses Club of Edmondson High School. This was part of the custom of the club of making the holiday season more enjoyable for the patients of some Maryland institution. They also visited Rosewood Training School as part of this program. A home nursing course was sponsored bv the club and was open to any Edmondson student. The course was pre- sented by a representative of the Baltimore chapter of the Red Cross. The members of the club assisted the school nurse, Mrs. Anna Surasky in the Health Suite, gaining practical experi- ence in nursing, while teaching them the requirements and advantages of the profession.
