irls' ports The girls, 'CAN badminton team finished the season with a .500 mark by defeating Southern. 4-0. and Douglas. 3-1, and losing twice to Forest Park. -1-0 and 3-1. The B badminton team fared similarly, however. their second loss to Forest Park was also a shutout. The A team represents varsity and the B team junior varsity. Phyllis Howard and Winnie Jefferson combined to form the number one pair on the varsity team. The girlsi speedball team. in its second year. posted a 1-2 record.
