During the ser,--mtl semester. the department was pro- vided with sexeral new classrooms in which to perform its duties. Next sf,-hf :1,+ l year the department will offer instruction in hlectronies and Cas-Engine Shop. TRIANGLES AND T SQUARES are the tools of the trade.

The construction and choosing of a becoming wardrobe and the understanding of the fundamentals of good nutrition were part of this preparation. The girls of Edmondson had the distinct advantage of working with the newest and finest furnishings and equipment found on the market today. Mrs. Chester teaches vocal music along with Mr. Roberts. They strive to develop good tone quality by teaching a variety of songs. many requiring close harmony. They also expose their students to various types of music using records. In this manner. Edmondson students learn to recognize and appreciate all types of music. both modern and classical. Mr. Sengstacke, in charge of instrumental music. in- structs students in playing many instruments, developing and encouraging good musicians to provide material for our school band.
