Future Teachers of America was an organization for students who wished to become teachers. The club increased its size to fifty members. lts activities were comprised of movies, special speakers, and discussions. At the end of the year, the seniors were given the opportunity to teach in ci classroom for one day.

Its activities included regular weekend ski trips to Stevens Pass, and an annual trip to Mt. Baker at the end of the season. At the season's beginning, a bake sale was held. The proceeds from this sale helped finance the Mt. Baker trip. 24
