In another outstanding effort against Marysville, the A Tigers finished out their Northwest play with a 48-O g tt t L f t, L ii, y N Win- ' B ,. Outstanding player awards were presented to ':' three Tiger ballplayers. Fred Shull, Edmonds cap- tain, took three awards, Best Tackler, Honorary Captain, and Inspirational Player. Rick Clothier was chosen Mr. Hustle. Best Blocker was awarded to .loe Wagner. Six Tiger gridders made the All-North- west football team this year. Fred Shull L was chosen from Northwest League half- back, Ernie Galante, end, and Tim McAllister center Chosen for the second team were Joe Wagner, guard Harlan Patterson, tackle and Mike Whales, quarterback Fourteen seniors lettered in their last Mike Cunningham, Rick Clothier, Ernie Ga- lante, John Howell, Larry Langlois, Hugh Lee, Bob Lund, Larry Potter, Fred Shull, Jerry Steiner, Jerry Still, Joe Wagner and John Williams. For the T960 season, Edmonds will be go- ing into the Seattle city league along with two other new entrants, Shoreline' and lngraham.
