The ancient apple tree is one of the few remaining vestiges of the old orchard which originally occupied the school site. Beyond it is the student store which the distributive educa- tion classes will open in the fall of 1959. It will handle school supplies, primarily, but will also be used for selling other items for student use. At the far end of the leaf-strewn corridor is a sheltered bus-loading ramp. A .
