The EHS Cinerama Oscar has been awarded to Superintendent Hugh Bingham for best production of the year, 1962-63. This out- standing producer graduated from Garber High School: received his A,B., B.S,, and M.E. degrees from Phillips University, did graduate work at Oklahoma State University and worked toward his Ph. D. at Phillips. He began teaching in 1939 but this was interrupted by five years service in the United States Air Force. He resumed his teaching career at Garber and later served as superintendent of the Garber system for several years. His family is composed of his wife, lla, two sons, Sam and Gene, and daughter, Mary, who is in EHS. His special interests are golfing, fishing, and photography. He is very interested in civic work both here and at Garber. His first impressions of Edmond were the number of churches and the community's interest in furthering desirable educational and social goals. 4

Mr. Robert Ford, the principal and director of EHS Cinerama, came to us this year from Fairfax, Oklahoma, where he was principal for five years. Mr. Ford attended Bristow High School, received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Northeastern State College, his Master of Arts degree at OSU, and coached previously at Rolla, Kansasg Henry- etta and Cleveland, Oklahoma. When Mr. Ford is not busy directing the EHS cast, he enjoys fish- ing, hunting, and golfing. The stars of Mr. Ford's family include his wife,Pat, and three children, Debra, Martha Jean, and Robert Martin. Even though he has many activities and duties as a new principal, Mr. Ford can al- ways be found smiling, cheerful, and ready to help. 5 I P
