SPANISH CLUB JUNIOR CLASSICAL LEAGUE The Spanish Club has been a school organiza- tion since l935, and is growing larger every year. This year there are approximately 30 members. The purpose of this club is to broaden the interest and understanding of the Spanish language. The members find this year more interesting by being able to make recordings of their own Voices with their new recording equipment. Miss Kivlehen, the sponsor, may well be very proud of the in- creased interest the organization has promoted. She has been the sponsor of this club for 25 years. If someday EHS decides to have a Spanish cin-' erama, we will expect a great deal of able as- sistance from this organization. The Junior Classical League is an organization for both old and new students in Latin. The pur- pose of this club, both nationally and locally, is to increase knowledge and interest in Latin. One of the highlights of the year was having dinner and a program at an Italian restaurant. The members receive a pin which is an em- blem of the laurel wreath and the torch of classi- cal civilization. This part of EHS production was directed by Miss Colleen Kivelehen, who has been directing this club since it was established. Romansg B.Bell, D. Shores, N. Wynn. SEATED ON FLOOR: S. Higgins and N.
