STUDENT COUNCIL Right: Student Council President, Al Ruble. Left: State Vice President ofthe Oklahoma Association of Student Councils, Gray Baker. This year's Student Council was the ultimate production crew which tied together all the various activities of EHS. The Student Council, composed of repre- sentatives from each home room and organi- zation, met weekly to plan mixers and parties, to promote various projects, and to discuss and solve problems of everyday school life. Representatives from the Council attended the State Convention of the Oklahoma Associ- ation of Student Councils. This year Edmond held the office of State Vice President. The Student Council with 'their crew of directors and representatives has constantly worked to help Edmond High School produce the extravaganza of the century. The purposes of this club are: to develop initiative and leadershipg to provide experience in living and working togetherg to serve the school and community, to prepare for useful citizenship and to develop ideals in hu- man and spiritual relationships. The initial year of the Key Club included such activities as: volunteering for civic health and cleanup projects, welcoming stations, money making projects, banquets, parties and so- cial events. Sophomore, Junior, and Senior boys comprise the membership of the Club which is spon- sored by the Edmond Kiwanis Club. Sennores Bill Wetmore, Joe Butler and Rick Bingham rehearse for their Cinerama debut as cantores de Espanol. 26
