. . -4.4, IA Orvis Pritchett and Hampshire wether, which won 7th place at the America! Royal, We believe in the future of farming, with a faith borne not of words, but of deeds. Our accomplish- ments in 1954 have brought us local, state, and na- tional recognition. In the fall our first competition was the township fair, followed by the county and state fairs, and climaxed by our trip to the American Royal at Kansas City. ln the spring we exhibited livestock at the Enid district fat stock show and at the state spring stock show at Oklahoma City. Here we gained the honor of being the first chapter in the history of the show to exhibit champion and reserve champion steers of one breed. We also received the Shorthorn trophy for having the best group of five Shorthorn steers. With the completion of our broiler proiect and our annual parent and son banquet, we come to the end of one of our most successful years, under the help and guidance of our instructor and FFA advisor, Mr. Leon Duffle, Roy Brown and Ted Capron giving lloy's steer a shave and haircut at the Enid district ht Mech show.
