U I U I In our contest work this year, Edmond High School competed entirely against class A competition. We have been active in many group events such as debate, dis- cussion, and one act plays. In individual speech work, Edmond speech students have captured many firsts at several tournaments and repeatedly placed at all of them. The main aim of the speech department this year has been diversity. Ov Making the best record of any school in the nation at the National Speech Tourna- ment in Denver, Colorado, were Loy Fer- guson, Vic Jackson and their coach Mrs. Smith.
