Through a well directed system of classes and extra curricular work, E. H. S. has been well represented in inter-scholastic speech competition and local speech work. The annual Speech play, Our Town, will long be remembered as a wonderful reflection upon the efforts and work of the Speech l Class. ln debate, E. H. S. is among the top contenders ta represent Oklahoma at the National Tournament, having shown up well in all tournaments entered and placing first at one. ln individual speech work, Edmond speech students have captured many firsts at several tournaments and repeatedly placed at all of them.
