SUPERINTENDENT EVER SINCE he came to Ed- mond High, Owen King, now superintendent, has proved himself year after year to be a true friend to the students of our school. Mr. King became associat- ed with our school in 1929 by taking the reins of wrestling coach and teaching several classes. He became superintendent in 1933 and continued to coach wrestling until 1941. During the last few years Mr. King's position has required much of his time to be spent apart from the student body, but his chief concern contin ues to be the welfare of every student in our school Now in his old age Mr King has become a hopeless addict to the sport called golf I I .3-v ' 19' cw x N. i vox wo-fr PRINCIPAL B C PIPPIN came to Edmond High School as principal in 1944 from Kingfisher county where he had been engaged in school work for 17 years He began his school work as a oach and teacher at Britton High School in 1925 As principal and friend Mr Pippin is constantly besieged by students wanting counsel and advice about problems both in and out of school Mr Pippin is a strong advo cate of school government and has an unwavering faith in the students of Edmond High - .
